P-Tex Sticks

Have you suffered scratches, superficial or minor damage to the base of your ski or snowboard? With these black or transparent P-Tex sticks you can carry out repairs quickly and easily. With Ptex you can fill the scratch again so that your base is one smooth and flat surface again.

These transparent P-Tex sticks come in a handy size 190mm long and 12mm fat. They are suitable for any type of ski or snowboard. After use, you can wax the ski or snowboard again as before.

Instructions:
Thoroughly clean the entire surface of the ski or snowboard with wax remover.
Clean the damage you want to repair and let it dry out sufficiently.
Then light the Ptex candle on fire with a lighter, or use a P-Tex glue gun.
Drop the hot Ptex candle onto the base where the damage is.
Allow to cool sufficiently, and scrape away the excess Ptex with a scraper, knife or clean Alu Oxide stone.

Tip:
For better adhesion, apply a thin layer first Metal Grip On.

Attention! TTransparent P-Tex can discolour yellow if the combustion temperature rises too high. With poor adhesion, or on the steel edges, the Ptex can also come loose over time.
Burning Ptex can cause a fire hazard, and the fumes are unhealthy. Only use this in a ventilated, controlled environment using the correct equipment.
