You cannot wax a ski or snowboard without using a wax brush. You can make it easy for yourself with these oval ski wax brushes from Wax'n Board. An oval brush is not only ergonomic, making brushing easier, but it also has a larger surface area than standard brushes. This makes the work more thorough and faster.
When you brush the base, you should move from front to back. Light pressure can be applied to the brush for optimal results. By brushing the base you influence the water drainage under your ski or snowboard. A layer of water between material and snow is important because that is where you slide. Remove excess wax with a wax brush, because too much wax has a negative effect.
There are three variants:
- Nylon, or the standard brush, to be used after waxing
- Copper, to remove electrostatic charges, to be used for waxing
- Horse hair, to brush away any excess wax after using the nylon brush
Tip! We recommend always purchasing a set of 3 brushes. Are you on a tight budget? Then buy at least a nylon brush.
Very satisfied with the brushes! Are of good quality!
