The name The first already suggests it, but for those who haven't quite mastered our dialect (don't worry, you'd rather be on the slopes than specializing in dialects); we would like to introduce you to our first locally designed snowboard!
All Mountain: Groomer & Freestyle
The snow situation on the slopes changes every hour. So if only you had taken multiple snowboards with you on your skiing holiday? That worry is now over. With 'T ieste snowboard we provide you with an all-round unisex snowboard that meets every snow condition and terrain.
An All-Mountain snowboard is used on the slopes, in the park, between the natural halfpipe elements but also between the wild pine trees. 'T Ieste is a snowboard that meets all your needs and focuses on groomers (piste) and freestyle, it is suitable for both beginners and advanced.
True TwinTip
What has an identical front and back? A TwinTip!
Mount your snowboard bindings centrally on the board, and whether you're regular or goofy, the first snowboard rides great in all directions!
This is ideal if you are not yet sure whether you are right or left front. Of course it is perfect for park riders who ride out their features in switch, you do not want to get into trouble if you have to land blind.
Pow Nose
Thanks to our integrated Pow Nose, you don't have to run all the way down the mountain to chase your powder board! This all-mountain snowboard is suited for riding in the occasional powder, so let that dump of fresh snow fall right away.
We tweak the nose of 'T ieste, raising it a whole centimeter. Set your bindings to setback (backwards) and thanks to the Pow Nose you get an unprecedented upward lift for those -first- off-piste adventures…
Flex 3/5
Every snowboard can bend, some more than others. We rated this snowboard as medium flex of 3 out of 5 (or 4 out of 10). That is not too hard and not too soft. This makes 'T ieste a forgiving and high-performance snowboard with the right balance for sufficient grip and stability.
Of course your body weight but also your height is the determining factor. If you choose a smaller board, the flex will be softer. With a larger snowboard a bit harder of course.
- Snowboard length is taken up to your chin height, of course measured with boots off.
- Need more lift in powder snow: take a slightly longer snowboard (max 2 cm).
- A manageable board for park or street; reduce the size of your board (max 2cm).
Traditional Low Camber
The best choice for a new snowboard is one with a camber profile.
Regardless of your skills or style, they are versatile on and off the slopes.
The upward undulation, seen from the side, gives you the most contact with snow during turns! This makes the 'T ieste snowboard stable at high speed and therefore very suitable for carving down the groomer piste.
When 'T ieste is de-flexed, it pops right back into its original shape. This not only makes it easy to hold edges: this powerful energy gives freestylers an extra push in the back when jumping objects such as rails, boxes, and jumps!

We wrap a solid poplar core (Popcor_N) in biaxial fiberglass (BAFL) and press it together with a unique Extru+ Base. The bottom of this snowboard is easy to maintain and can withstand a beating. This way you will not lose speed and you do not have to worry about getting damaged in the park.
Thanks to a specially placed rubber damping mechanism next to the ABS sidewalls we minimize chatter when your speed increases. Thanks to the combination with EuroSteel Edges we create a razor sharp 90° angle that you can tune to your own preference, with which you can carve down the mountain in a stable way.
