This way you will cruise on the mountain this winter with a unique snowboard! Read our custom snowboard options below.<\/p>\n<p>To order, please send us a message first to check whether we want to include your project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Stage 1, 2 &amp; 3<\/h2>\n<p>Just like a car tuner, we offer you stage 1, 2 or 3 configurations. You can order a \u201cStage 1\u201d custom snowboard right away via our webshop. For \u201cStage 2 and 3\u201d you first take <a href=\"https:\/\/waxnboard.com\/en\/contact\/\">contact<\/a> with us because we have some specific rules \u2013 which do not fit into a webshop form.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stage 1<\/strong> \u2013 Choose one of our standard configurations. Create a deck and base design that fits your style and needs. Our \u201cWax&#039;n Board\u201d brand is always clearly displayed on the sidewall and base.<br \/>\n<em>Ideal &amp; affordable for avid snowboarders!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Stage 2<\/strong> \u2013 same as \u201cStage 1\u201d, but with the option to remove our branding.<br \/>\nV<em>chosen by resellers &amp; sports clubs.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Stage 3<\/strong> \u2013 Go nuts! Customize the design completely. Both graphically or in shape, flex &amp; materials. Of course you can mention our brand: it\u00b4s up to you!<br \/>\n<em>For the die-hard snowboarders or high volume resellers.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Length<\/h2>\n<p>Choose the length that suits you. Traditionally, you choose a board with a length between your chin and nose (length: without shoes on). Of course, your preference may differ. You are unique, just like our boards!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Freestyle<\/strong> \u2013 choose a short board, for more agility. Somewhere between collarbone and chin.<\/li>\n<li><strong>All-Mountain \/ Freeride<\/strong> \u2013 a length between chin and nose provides stability at speed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alpine Racing<\/strong> \u2013 for speed, length really matters. Choose a length that reaches your forehead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tip! For a low body weight you choose a shorter snowboard, on the other hand for a heavier weight you better choose a longer board.<br \/>\nOf course, these are just guidelines. Your experience and preference may differ from what we have learned over the years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Core<\/h2>\n<p>The core of your custom snowboard is yours to choose. We work with poplar as standard, but bamboo is a possible option for enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Poplar<\/strong> \u2013 Super strong, super light due to the low moisture content.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bamboo<\/strong> \u2013 Stiffer than poplar for more control and direct response.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Profile<\/h2>\n<p>We offer 3 balanced profiles to suit your style.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Camber<\/strong> \u2013 The classic &amp; most made choice. Good board control on both groomed slopes and hard snow. Extra pop. Absorbs the impact of jumps when landing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rocker<\/strong> \u2013 Often chosen by beginning riders. Easy to maneuver and less chance of getting stuck in a turn. Less suitable for high speeds or jumps.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hybrid<\/strong> \u2013 Meet in the middle! Great ollies, more forgiving than Camber, and easier to change edges in your turns. Thanks to the flat middle profile it is just as suitable for railing as Camber.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Flex<\/h2>\n<p>With a custom snowboard you can determine the flex of your new board yourself! We are talking about the flex in length. From nose to tail. The lower the number (0-10) the more flexible your board. Decide for yourself whether you want a noodle, medium or stiff snowboard. The most chosen flex? From 4 to 6!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>0,1,2<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 We mainly use these super \u201csoft\u201d boards for snowboards for children.<\/li>\n<li><strong>3,4<\/strong> \u2013 A soft flex ideal for freestyle butters! Or for beginners who still need to build some muscle \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li><strong>5,6<\/strong> \u2013 Medium flex, suitable for all-mountain, for progression and stable boarding: also during jumps.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7,8<\/strong> \u2013 Medium to hard flex. Ideal for backcountry, deep snow, maintaining speed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>9,10<\/strong> \u2013 Hard flex. For pros and amateurs with very good technique, who are not afraid to work hard when snowboarding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Carbon stringer<\/h2>\n<p>Go for a performance upgrade and choose the optional Carbon stringer! This hard fiber has a very good \u201cbounce back\u201d which makes your custom snowboard return to its normal shape faster after the initiated movement.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cross carbon stringers<\/strong> \u2013 A large cross over the entire length. For the most stiffness in torsion as in length (longitude), for extra response and increased pop.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Parallel carbon stringers<\/strong> \u2013 Extra stiffness in length, for increased pop. Because these run parallel, this is a very reliable behavior for jumps. Slightly more difficult in terms of flex in width (torsion).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Double V carbon stringers<\/strong> \u2013 Carbon in the shape of a V, in the nose and tail. For a better pop and more stiffness in the torsion of the nose &amp; tail, without sacrificing the general flex in the middle of your custom snowboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Sidewall<\/h2>\n<p>The icing on the cake: finish your ABS sidewall in a nice color that matches your design. Then choose the color of our brandname (black or white). Available colors for the sidewall:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Black, White, Pink, Red, Orange, Green, Yellow, Blue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Base<\/h2>\n<p>We place a \u201ctop of the line\u201d sintered base on our custom snowboards. That requires regular waxing, but for that little bit of work you have a super fast board that - with some technique - can keep up with skiers or make flatter snow slopes enjoyable.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, a sintered base is +-80% transparent. Details and color can be lost during printing (which will happen on the back). That&#039;s why we usually keep the base prints sober for a successful look!<\/p>\n<p>With our \u201cStage 1\u201d custom snowboards, you place \u201cWax&#039;n Board\u201d in your graphic design, large and legible, over the entire length.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Deck<\/h2>\n<p>The surface you and the entire world look at the most, and possibly the reason for your custom snowboard \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Finish your deck with your own design on a premium quality matte topsheet. Do you like monsters, retro prints, your (scantily clad?) partner, or psychedelic colors? That is your full right and completely \u201cup to you\u201d to make it a real gem.<\/p>\n<p>Do you prefer a veneer deck? That is also possible, we will then place a bamboo veneer topsheet. Know that each veneer is unique and different, no board looks the same! We can therefore not make any promises about the perfection of the wood (think of eyes and small welds). On veneer we advise to make sober prints in black or white.<\/p>\n<p>After ordering, we will send you the design template in PDF, together with the most important properties that you need to take into account in order to be able to print the design (e.g. CMYK, 300DPI &amp; 1:1 format). Then you can get started yourself to stick a photo on it, draw yourself, or hire a designer. Optionally, we can also put you in touch with designers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Lead time<\/h2>\n<p>Midwinter is our peak season. That is why we do not guarantee a delivery date or work to deadlines. Expect 8 or more weeks, after submitting requirements and graphic design, for your own snowboard to be ready. Weather conditions, stock etc. can have an impact on delivery.<\/p>\n<p>We confirm your order before production and only start after your confirmation and payment, after which no more adjustments are possible. When your board is ready, we deliver it in a wrap, or wax it so that it is immediately ready to taste snow.<\/p>\n<p>Prices exclude delivery. Custom work cannot be exchanged.
