About this right
Wax'n Board is obliged to comply with specific consumer rights of the European Union. These rules are defined in two parts, namely in the category Right of Withdrawal and Warranty.
These determine your rights as a customer and our obligations as a company. It goes without saying that we strictly follow these at all times with our after-sales service. Below we list the essential points, more information can be found on the website of the European Union. We also advise you to consult our entire general terms and conditions, of which the right of withdrawal is only one part.
General rights
In the EU, you have the right to cancel purchases of goods and services that you did not purchase in a physical store within 14 calendar days. You don't have to give a reason for this, you can just change your mind, although we appreciate the reasoning behind it. With your information we can ensure that you, or another customer, receive a better product or service.
This 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to all purchases. Some excluded examples are:
- Reservations for specific dates;
- repairs and maintenance contracts;
- Specially manufactured or personalized products;
- Online digital content;
- Sealed products where you broke the seal after delivery.

Cancel a purchase
You must notify the seller that you wish to undo the purchase. It is not enough to just return the products.
In addition, you must return the products within 14 days of notifying the seller. You notify us in writing that you wish to cancel a purchase by using the contact form. You don't even have to indicate why you want to cancel your purchase, although we appreciate this information.
To qualify for a refund it is essential that goods are in original, sealed and unopened packaging and that these goods have not been used. Wear or other traces that indicate the use of an item are sufficient to waive your right of withdrawal. Only products in their original packaging and with all associated documentation and parts will be accepted. Any damage to packaging is sufficient to be excluded from the right of withdrawal
Get your money back
The seller will refund your money within 14 days of your cancellation. The refund may be delayed if the goods you have returned have not yet been received.
You will also be refunded the shipping cost that you initially paid. But if you had requested special shipping, such as extra fast delivery or delivery to your own location, you will pay for the extra costs yourself.
Any return costs are always at the expense of the buyer, never at the expense of the seller and they will not be refunded as they are excluded from the European guidelines.
A return shipment must always be packed in a correct way so that it cannot be damaged or lost, we advise to send the shipment only after checking the correct delivery address and through a recognized, and insured, tracking service to exclude discussion about possible lost or damaged shipments. If the latter is the case, you will have to contact the insurance company of your courier service to obtain compensation. In that case, the seller cannot intervene and your right of withdrawal expires immediately.
The refund of your purchase and standard shipping costs will be made to the payment method with which the purchase was made. For example, if you paid with a Credit Card, this will never be paid out in cash.
Withdrawal Form
At Wax'n Board we give you as a customer the opportunity to let us know in writing that you wish to make use of the right of withdrawal. This can be done by letter to the official address, or via the contact form on this website. However, we do not accept reporting via public or non-public social media or other channels that are not mentioned in these terms and conditions.
