Hey! Nice that you want to know more about Wax'n Board. We are a ski and snowboard company based in Berlare – East Flanders. It is located almost centrally in Belgium, a country that is part of the European Union.
Wax'n Board is a brand, a creation, of Olivier Willems; a passionate winter sportsman. Our founder and manager is a big fan of snowboard. More specifically Freestyle Snowboard. Of course, he has also been standing on skis before, not only while waiting in line for a ski lift;), but there is the greatest chance that you can bump into him on a board.
Because there are, of course, no mountains in Belgium, our focus group consists mainly of indoor athletes and occasional amateurs and top athletes who go to the snowy mountains.
Wax'n Board was created because we noticed that winter sports equipment rarely or never gets proper maintenance. This is of course due to the lack of mountains in Belgium, but also the little experience of winter sports enthusiasts. That is why we see it as a challenge to change this. We share our knowledge, we develop our own products, and in our workshop, we guarantee you the best shredding experience after waxing your ski or snowboard.

What do we do?
At Wax'n Board we really differ from those few shops in the Benelux. We don't have a permanent shop, so we don't have to bear the same burden as our competitors. As one of the few remaining companies, we still do the maintenance of skis manually. We don't need machines to cut costs, or to turn mass volume to be profitable.
Our operation is therefore truly unique: We only accept as many requests per week as we can really handle. This allows us to give a thorough analysis of all the material. This allows us to continue to guarantee our skills and service to deliver good work.
Our customers confirm with a smile that this is the right way forward!
Of course, snow sports is a niche, and like everyone else, we also have to eat at the end of a working day. That is why we are active in several branches, to keep our company healthy. This allows Wax'n Board to grow without compromising on quality. With the magical powers of Willemso we created our own Wintersports webshop .
Here, we only sell products we either use ourselves, or really know they are the best ones on the market.
At Wax'n Board we do more than just maintenance or waxing. For example, you can also find tools such as scapers, wax, brushes, etc. to do waxing or repairs yourself.
Additionally, we also sell custom snowboards that are tailor-made especially for you. And we don't just mean the print on top of your deck! At Wax'n Board we always try to find the right balance in our products. Because the balance between quality, price, but also impact on nature is important. Without snow, our sport ends. That is why we work ecologically, with a small footprint, during the production of materials. A great example are our wax scrapers.
Designed in Belgium, locally made in the EU, from recycled material for a sustainable use, which can be recycled again afterwards!

After the official launch of Wax&Board in 2019, we launched our international website in mid-2020: waxnboard.com. Not because of star allures, but Covid-19 had a major impact on wintersports. Having to close your shop halfway through the season is not ideal.
But at Wax'n Board we never sit still. For example, we developed a new product at the beginning of 2020. One that makes you a better shredder. With which you can train Freestyle anytime, anywhere! With which you can also practice other board sports such as wakeboarding, snowskate, etc.
Our Freestyle Training Gearwith which you can develop and improve your skills at home, with friends, or in the trampoline park. Without a flake of snow, or a drop of water.
Of course it doesn't stop there, we developed other products that you can purchase exclusively in our shop or from our partners. We also have a few other snow projects on the shelf, which we will communicate about in the coming months and years.
